Paint Correction:
Paint correction is a process where the paint is restored back to and in most cases better than the original factory finish, quite often eliminating the need for an expensive re-spray.
It is an intense process of machine polishing to remove any swirl marks , light to medium scratches and imperfections.
Paint correction is the core skill of any professional detailer as it is what gives the paint a true natural imperfection free finish , when done properly it gives the paint a mirror image shine enhancing both the colour(on solid paint finishes) and the flecks in metallic paint .
Depending on the condition of the paint our paintwork correction process for used cars takes on average 20 to 30 hours to complete,
To protect the highly polished finish , all our cars are finished with our exclusive £7000 carnauba wax , this forms a glossy waterproof shell over the paintwork , protecting it from the elements , acid rain etc
Paint Inspection:
For paint inspection we use state of the art equipment to measure the depth of the paint on all metal and composite panels.
This builds up a picture of the whole painted area of a car, telling us which panels have been painted in the past, showing potential accident / paint repairs.
An ideal service when buying a new / used car.
It?s also an important part of our paint correction / restoration process as it tells us of panels that may have been machine polished previously making to whole process much safer.
